Rodrygo Goes

(January 9th, 2001, in São Paulo, Brazil)

Football player for Real Madrid and the Brazilian National team. A fundamental part of the white team’s offense.

As a winger, he stands out for his ability to feint, associate in short spaces and find gaps to assist his teammates. He is characterized by his agility and individual technique.

He got his football training in his country with Santos, the club he debuted for in 2017. At only 17 years old, he became Santos’ youngest player to ever play in the Copa Libertadores, and in the youngest Brazilian to score a goal in that competition. In 2018, Real Madrid laid eyes on him and signed him for the 2019-20 season. During his tenure with the merengue team, he has already achieved two titles (LaLiga 2019/20 and the Spanish Supercopa in 2020) and was a candidate for the Golden Boy as the best sub-21 player in the world on three occasions (2019, 2020 and 2021).
